4.1 Face Data Processing

In order to provide advanced portrait editing, AI analysis, video enhancements, and creative framing, our App may process face-related information (such as face bounding boxes or facial landmarks to estimate head angle and framing). Regarding this face data, we explicitly state:

No AI Training: We strictly do NOT use your media or face data to train, enrich, or improve our own AI models. Furthermore, our agreements with our secure infrastructure providers (Google Cloud and OpenAI) explicitly prohibit them from retaining your media or using your data to train their fundamental AI models. Your media remains 100% your property.

Metadata (EXIF): Media metadata (e.g., camera settings) is utilized solely to provide editing context and is strictly never shared with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Each service is bound by their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements. We only transmit the minimum data required (e.g., photo file for analysis, anonymous device identifier, crash diagnostics).

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal claims).

PhotoMentor is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Cookies and Tracking

Our App does not use cookies. Our website may use essential cookies for functionality. We do not engage in cross-site tracking for advertising purposes.

We honor Do Not Track signals. When detected, we disable non-essential analytics.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-App notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
